Instance Global UK Limited

Video Description

Isometric City

I was approached by Instance Global UK Limited, to create an Isometric city. depicting several locations/key buildings that are all interconnected with their product.

This was quite fun to create and working with the client was also a joy.

Concept

The concept of the Instance Global project was to create an immersive isometric city buzzing with activity. The 3D environment should include brand colors of the Client and feature their company HQ and logo.

 Process

I started with city layout, road & railways, throwing in the airport runway and then buildings and other objects.

Final

The final renders was very close to the envisioned ideas and very little finetuning was needed.

This was a great example of client knowing exactly what they want and communicating their needs properly.

Axoquatic

Video Description

Open world Survival-arcade game

I was approached by Coded Cookie, a gaming company based in Johannesburg, to contribute my expertise in texturing 3D models for their open-world survival-arcade game, Axoquatic.

Concept

The concept of the Axoquatic project was to create an immersive open-world survival-arcade game. The game aimed to provide players with an engaging and visually captivating experience as they navigate through a dynamic and challenging environment.

My role in this project was to enhance the visual appeal of the game by texturing the 3D models, bringing them to life with detailed and realistic textures.

 Process

Throughout the project, I followed a systematic process to deliver high-quality texturing for the 3D models. After receiving the models from Coded Cookie, I carefully analyzed their characteristics and unique features. This allowed me to develop a texturing strategy that would enhance the visual quality and realism of each model.

Using industry-standard texturing tools and techniques, I meticulously applied textures, paying close attention to details such as surface properties, weathering effects, and material accuracy. Regular feedback loops with the team at Coded Cookie ensured that the textures aligned with their vision for the game.

Final

The final outcome of my work on the Axoquatic project was a significant contribution to the overall visual appeal of the game. The textured 3D models added depth, detail, and immersion to the virtual world, elevating the players' experience.

The realistic textures enhanced the visual fidelity of the game, making it more captivating and believable. Collaborating with Coded Cookie allowed me to showcase my texturing skills and contribute to the development of an engaging open-world survival-arcade game.
